It's been an eventful month full of amazing experiences and much new happiness:)

* I also have a new adventure teaching a voice class for inner city girls 10-16 for the Masterpiece Academy this summer :) Thanks to Penny Blackwell for a wonderful opportunity!

* I've also been offering free voice lessons to the rambunctious family of one of my No Child Left Behind tutoring students. How often we don't fully appreciate what we've got, until we're reminded by meeting people who don't have what we consider to be the basics.

* Recently, I've been inspired by master songwriters Rand Bishop and Susan Ashmann who gave great workshops at the Yes Festival, and by master ukulele player Jake Shimabukuro . Let's just say I've been reminded how much more I have to learn!

* Also enjoyed the memorable soul/folk of Sam and Ruby (Secret Life of Bees) and the wacky musical "Dirty South Korea" by Arkansas-raised Korean-American performing artist/songwriter Steve Lee

* Plans are in the works to record with Anthony Belfiglio (Branford Marsalis, Kevin Mahogany) and Tom Larson (Maki Suntikul, Delicious Blues Stew) and other terrific musicians this summer. More TBA...
